Master Boot Record (MBR) disks use the standard BIOS partition table. GUID partition table (GPT) disks use the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI). One advantage of GPT disks is that you can have more than four partitions on each disk. GPT is also required for disks larger than 2 terabytes (TB).
You can change a disk from MBR to GPT partition format as long as the disk contains no partitions or volumes.
BIOS settings allow the computer to run with boot sequence from hard drive, floppy drive, CD/DVD-ROM drive, or external devices such as USB stick. You can set up the order that your computer searches these physical devices for the boot sequence. This is useful when you need to reinstall the operating system from DVD or restore your computer back to factory defaults using a USB stick.
Press< DEL > or< ESC> to enter BIOS setup. Boot->Boot Option Priorities.
Press< DEL > or< ESC> to enter BIOS setup. Advanced-> Restore AC Power Loss (Power Off / Power On / Last State).
AT / ATX Power-on Mode Selection Jumper, 1-2: ATX Mode; 2-3: AT Mode.
Copy BIOS to USB Disk. Boot from DOS, then run “1.bat”.
Wait until the writing is completed.
Power off the computer, and wait 30-second.
Enter BIOS and Load optimized defaults.
Enter BIOS.
Enable LVDS: Chipset-> North Bridge Configuration-> LVDS Controller
Resolution Setting: LVDS Panel Resolution Type Select
Press F10 (Save and Exit).

If you are installing Windows 7, the USB mouse and keyboard might not be functional under the Windows installation environment due to the lack of USB driver. It is recommended to create a Windows 7 installation device with Our Smart Tool, which the USB driver will be packed in the System installation program.
